Involve Church is excited to announce that, starting on Easter Sunday, April 16, we will be gathering to worship in our new Sunday Morning home of Snake River Elementary School at 500 Stampede Drive. Of course, during times of transition like this, we are reminded that the church is not a building, but is a gathering of people who profess Christ as their Savior and Lord. As a gathering of people, we are excited to see God working in the lives of individuals, both to bring people to Christ and to see them grow in their faith.
That said, we also realize that a building and location can have a profound impact on the perception of a church and the atmosphere of worship. It is amazing to see how God has directed us over the last several months to Snake River. The opportunities for being able to show love in the name of Christ to the students, faculty, and staff at Snake River are many. As we have met with the administration and have interacted with them over the last few months, it has become clear they have a desire to see the community become a better place. The needs are many and we know God is presenting this as an opportunity to reach people with the message of the Gospel. Join us in praying that we may serve the people in the new area well while continuing to reach people surrounding Birch Elementary School.
“We see this as God expanding our area of ministry and as an opportunity to serve more people in different ways.”
We want to invite you to join us to worship God for our Easter Sunday Celebration at 10:30am. We also will be having a preview service on Good Friday, April 14, at 7pm. This is a special service that focuses on the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. It ends in darkness, preparing our hearts for His miraculous resurrection from death on Sunday morning. We hope to see you there!
